The Marketing Team at Winter Park Resort has decided to expand their department by adding THREE new positions: Events Producer, Marketing Coordinator, & Content Coordinator!
The Events Producer is responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of summer and winter event programming in support of Winter Park Resort’s goals and objectives. In addition, the Events Producer will support the execution of other brand activations at the resort to create a lively and cohesive Village and mountain experience.
The position includes financial and budgetary responsibilities and will ensure the right brand-enforcing events are attracted to and hosted at the resort. Ensures innovative and creative strategies are in place. Strong focus on growing future summer and winter cutting edge “tomorrow” functions and activation.
The prime responsibility of the Events Producer is to build events that add value, increase animation, drive incremental guest visits, increase revenue, and ensure efficient use of staff, resources, and facilities. This position will not work on competitive athletic events, like ski races, but rather brand activations, base area events, and some non-competitive, on-mountain activations. Must work well under pressure or tight deadlines as well as be available to work weekends, holidays, and long shifts to ensure event success.
Marketing Coordinator Candidates must have proven coordination and/or marketing-related experience with support provided to multiple managers and exceptional organizational skills; must be proficient on all Microsoft office applications, with an emphasis on excel; be able to interpret & analyze data; must possess excellent grammar and proof-reading skills. Requires a strong sense of customer service, possessing a “yes we can” attitude toward all contacts. The candidate must be highly organized with excellent communication skills. General knowledge of hospitality/ski/resort is a definite asset. We are looking for a professional individual who is creative, energetic, and motivated.
Content Coordinator: Are you a natural storyteller? A skilled videographer? Do you have a passion for Outdoors? This position gives you the opportunity to communicate across the resort’s marketing channels by creating photo and video content. This role works in support of and in alignment with the Marketing Producer and Marketing Directors’ strategic plan.
You should demonstrate great attention to detail, have very strong communication skills, and be a team player. This is a job that requires both works and play to share your enthusiasm for the mountains and Winter Park Resort.
The Content Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing Team and works first and foremost to drive the resort and marketing goals. They must have a marketing mindset, able to jump in and contribute on a multitude of projects and flex their skillset where needed. Advanced skiing/snowboarding ability is an essential function of this job.
